De Ecler VIVO-X8 is een krachtige audiomatrix, uitgerust met het PLEX AV softwareplatform, waarmee niet alleen geavanceerde intelligente audiotoepassingen, maar ook complete AV-systemen kunnen worden aangestuurd. De VIVO-X8 beschikt over 8 analoge in- en uitgangen. De hardware kan worden uitgebreid met maximaal twee optionele BIO-X-modules. Dankzij de krachtige nieuwe DSP-processor kan de VIVO-X8 meerdere projecten tegelijkertijd draaien. De configureerbare audiomatrix ondersteunt maximaal 32×32 kanalen, waarmee hij uiterst flexibel inzetbaar is voor diverse toepassingen.

De Ecler PLEX-systemen bieden zeer uitgebreide en geavanceerde mogelijkheden. Om de kwaliteit en juiste toepassing te waarborgen, is het volgen van een training en behalen van een certificering verplicht. Zonder certificering is aankoop van Ecler PLEX-producten niet mogelijk.
